Service Opportunities are submitted through the Membership and Evangelism Committee of Session.

As with many other churches, The First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown relies on many volunteers to help with various aspects of church life. This arrangement serves two purposes; first, it encourages those who are able to do so to become more involved with the life of the church,\; and second, in certain instances it saves the church money by providing services for which it would otherwise have to hire paid help.
